PROPER GARMENT CARE Proper care and attention to your Fur, Leather, Suede, Shearling, Cashmere & Rainwear garment can increase its life. Tips to increase the longevity of your garment is as follows:

When you have your garment at home for seasonal use, place them only on a hanger that is wider in length and thicker in it's girth that the standard garment hanger to maintain its shape. Never on a wire hanger. Contact a CSI Agent to purchase one of our many garment hangers which is right for each of your precious garments.

For your Leather, Suede, Shearling or Rainwear garments wipe away dust with a soft, damp sponge or cloth. For your Fur or Cashmere garments us a soft natural hair brush. Contact a CSI Agent to purchase the "CSI Garment Care Kit" inclusive of the cloths & brushes that are right for the type of garments you own.

All these different types of garments need to "breathe". When you have your garments at home for seasonal use, never store them in a plastic or other non-breathable garment bag and or cover. This will "choke" the garment by not allowing air to pass through it, which in time will cause the animal hide to become dry and brittle. Contact a CSI Agent to purchase the "CSI Garment Care Kit" inclusive of one of many of our breathable material garment bags that is right for you!

In the event your garment becomes damp or even worse becomes wet, this moisture can cause mold & mildew if not addressed immediately and damage your garment beyond repair. We advise that you urgently allow it to air-dry naturally away from any heat source. Contact CleaningSpecialist.com immediately, and let a CSI Agent walk you through the necessary steps to saving your valuable garment. Remember, you must always avoid extreme heat or extreme moisture as these elements can permanently damage the animal hide.

When wearing your valuable garments avoid spraying hairspray or perfumes, or applying cremes and or lotions near or on your garment. With Furs, it can cause the hairs to gather and become brittle and or greasy. As with Leather, Suede, Shearlings, Cashmere & Rainwear these materials may permanently damage the animal hide's finish and also the precious materials. Also avoid applying pins or adhesive materials to the garment as these too may damage the hide's finish permanently.

Please... Do not attempt to remove soil and or stains from your Fur, Leather, Suede, Shearling, Cashmere & Rainwear garments at home. In many cases consumers "lock" in the soil or stain when purchasing and the many cleaning products available to the public. If soiling or staining occurs, the type that impairs your ability to wear your garment, immediately contact CleaningSpecialist.com and one of the CSI Agents will be happy to discuss the options to home remedies if possible, before having CleaningSpecialist.com step in to take over!
